YEREVAN. – A group of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) women and children, who have taken refuge in Yerevan these days, are protesting in front of the US embassy in Armenia, chanting, "We want peace" and "Don’t be blind."

Their main demand is not to remain indifferent and to condemn the Azerbaijani-Turkish terrorist aggression against Artsakh.

These women—whose husbands, brothers, and fathers are currently fighting on the frontline—also demand that the US impose sanctions on Turkey and that the latter’s interference in the Artsakh-Azerbaijani conflict be put an en to.

"We have come to ask and demand that the US Ambassador to Armenia come to us and listen to our demands in order to put an end to terrorism, to prevent another 'September 11 [attack]' from being repeated in Artsakh as well," said one of the protesters.
