Turkish Bayraktars carry out reconnaissance flights near Armenia’s border every day. The territories are Gyumri and the airports in Yerevan. ArmAeroNavigation noticed such activity of the flying devices starting from September 27. Azerbaijan also records the simultaneous movement of the flying objects.

“The Bayraktar flew from the area near Yevlakh, and these two planes flew from Ganja,” Technical Director of ArmAeroNavigation Gevorg Simonyan said.

The Radio Intelligence Department of the National Security Service of Armenia had recorded instructions being sent from the airspace of Turkey to Azerbaijan. Specialists of ArmAeroNavigation and the National Security Service combined the audio-visual facts and proved that the communication and command flying object spinning in the skies of Erzerum is most probably managing Azerbaian’s operations.

“These planes don’t enter Nagorno-Karabakh’s airspace since they operate 30-40 kilometers away from the airspace,” Simonyan stated.

The distance between the flying objects in the territories of Turkey and Azerbaijan is 450-500 kilometers.

One of the pilots stated that coordinates can be transferred from the Bayraktar UAV to the air command point.
