Foreign Ministers of Russia and France Sergey Lavrov and Jean-Yves Le Drian discussed the development of the situation in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone during phone talks.

According to the press service of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the interlocutors expressed serious concern over the ongoing large-scale hostilities and called for speedy and complete ceasefire and de-escalation. “The fact that there are no alternatives to a diplomatic solution to the conflict and the need for agreed actions of the Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group in the future were highlighted.
