Former director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, historian Hayk Demoyan posted the following on his Facebook page:

“Today is Republic Day in Turkey. I seriously assume that at the outset of the war, the Azerbaijan-Turkey terrorist alliance had a plan to celebrate it solenly in Shushi.

Today they have decided to take revenge by shelling Stepanakert and Shushi since the ceremonies weren’t held and there were no fireworks.

Let’s hope that on the occasion of this “holiday” there will be solemn banquets at the key military strongolds and positions of Azerbaijan under the high patronage of the Defense Army of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh).”
