It is planned to carry out research and design works in the defense sector. This is what Minister of High-Tech Industry of Armenia Hakob Arshakyan said during today’s discussion on the draft of the 2021 State Budget held as part of the joint session of the Standing Committees on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs and on Economic Affairs of the National Assembly.

According to him, it is planned to raise the level of cybersecurity and Internet access.

“To implement the specified goal, the Ministry of High-Tech Industry will carry out the “University-Private Partnership” professional training program costing AMD 380,000,000, the AMD 1,000,000,000 “From Idea to Business” grant program and the “Armenian Virtual Bridge” Program, which will allow to create a virtual bridge between local startups and similar companies from other countries. This program will cost AMD 1,180,000,000,” the minister explained.
