There is no goal to become prime minister. Prosperous Armenia Party leader, MP Gagik Tsarukyan, who is also an MP and business tycoon, said this in an interview with 168.am.

"It is they [the incumbent authorities] who are fighting to stay in the chair [of power]; they are clinging to the chairs. After this disgraceful defeat, after handing over the lands and giving so many casualties [in the recent Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) war], they still want to stay [in power] and are presenting plans. We [Armenians] must be united today; today we are in a situation that it seems  we are in the worst abyss. Involvement and unity will save us today. I will stand with and support a [PM] candidate acceptable to the public," he said.

And to the question whether he personally does not want to become prime minister, Tsarukyan gave a succinct answer: "No."
