Spokesperson for the United Nations Secretary-General Stephane Dujarric today told reporters that the UN’s specialists are ready to work with Russia to assess the amount of humanitarian aid in Nagorno-Karabakh, TASS reported.

“In response to the request of the Russian Federation which states the role of the interdepartmental humanitarian response center of Russia and the forms of humanitarian aid, the Secretary-General has confirmed that the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and other UN agencies are ready to collaborate and discuss the opportunities for joint operations in and around Nagorno-Karabakh on the spot in order to fully understand the humanitarian needs of the region as soon as possible,” he said.
