YEREVAN. – The missing servicemen’s relatives, who had been gathering outside the Ministry of Defense of Armenia for several days, on Tuesday are holding a rally in front of the Russian embassy, hoping to get answers to their questions on the whereabouts of these soldiers.

One of the protesters said that now they will hand a letter of petition to the embassy, and the gathered parents signed under this letter.

It was mentioned that some of the parents have been registered at the government, and, accordingly, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan may receive them if he finds the time.

To note, some of these relatives had a meeting with Pashinyan on Monday evening, and  such meetings will be continuous.

On November 9, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, and Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a joint statement on a complete cessation of hostilities— which Azerbaijan had launched on September 27—in and around Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh). Accordingly, Russian peacekeepers are deployed in the region to monitor the implementation of the ceasefire and the cessation of hostilities.
