YEREVAN. – The relatives of the servicemen who have gone missing during the recent Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) war have gathered in front of the main building of the government of Armenia.

Earlier in the day, they had assembled outside the Russian embassy where they had written a letter of request to Russian President Vladimir Putin, and handed to the embassy.

And on Monday evening, 25 of these relatives of the missing soldiers had met with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

On November 9, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, and Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a joint statement on a complete cessation of hostilities— which Azerbaijan had launched on September 27—in and around Artsakh. Accordingly, Russian peacekeepers are deployed in the region to monitor the implementation of the ceasefire and the cessation of hostilities.
