Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan visited the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport and introduced the personnel to newly appointed Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Vahram Dumanyan. The head of government expressed gratitude to ex-minister Arayik Harutyunyan for his work and wished Vahram Dumanyan success.

“Dear colleagues, we talk a lot about the degree of development of institutions in Armenia, and I believe all of our problems are linked to that. However, I also believe it is important for us to not neglect thought as an institution. I also believe we need to consider and understand this in general and have a picture of what thought we are guided by,” Pashinyan said in his speech.

Harutyunyan expressed gratitude to the personnel of the ministry for the cooperation and stated that the ministry has developed as an institution. He also thanked Prime Minister Pashinyan for his support and added that the reforms that are underway will have a positive impact on relations, the economy and Armenia’s position in international relations. Harutyunyan went on to say that he is willing to share his experience and information with the newly appointed minister.

In his turn, the newly appointed minister expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister for his trust and stated the following: “I agreed to accept the offer with a high sense of responsibility. I am ready to be dedicated to our state, country and do my best in this sector.” He also thanked Harutyunyan for his willingness to collaborate.
