A short while ago, Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan received a few of the parents of soldiers serving in Artsakh who have been holding a protest in front of the government building since 3 p.m. today.

The parents demand the return of their sons to Armenia since the hostilities are over and their sons are being kept in poor conditions.

After the meeting, one of the parents informed that the Prime Minister had asked the parents to give him two days and promised to answer their questions in two days.

“We told the Prime Minister to give us a final answer. In response, he said he would give us a final answer on the 30th of November, after which we said if he didn’t, we would go after our children,” one of the parents said.

According to the participants of the meeting, the answer will be negative.

“During the whole discussion, the Prime Minister was making it clear to us that we should be grateful that our sons are alive. We were told that we are protesting more than the parents of deceased servicemen. The best option will be a leave for those servicemen,” another parent said.

Another parent said they demand that the fixed-term servicemen be returned to the military units in Armenia.

The parents demand that the servicemen are brought to Armenia before November 30 since Berdzor will be transferred to Azerbaijan on December 1 and they fear that their sons won’t be able to leave Artsakh after that.
