A group of Armenia’s intellectuals have assembled Saturday at Charles Aznavour Square in downtown Yerevan to express their support to the relatives of Armenian POWs and missing persons in Azerbaijan.

They demand from the authorities to appropriately handle the health, psychological, and current service conditions of these POWs and missing persons, as well as conscripts.

On November 9, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, and Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a joint statement on a complete cessation of hostilities—which Azerbaijan had launched on September 27—in and around Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh).
