The first president of Armenia, Levon Ter-Petrosyan, expressed deep concern over the ever-intensifying power struggle, which, even regardless of the opposing sides, through accidental violence or provocation, could lead to civil war.

According to the ex-president's spokesperson Arman Musinyan, "Levon Ter-Petrosyan, expressed deep concern over the ever-intensifying struggle for power, even regardless of the opposing sides. And this will already be the end of the statehood of not only Artsakh, but also Armenia."

The first president hopes that N. Pashinyan and V. Maukyan, fully realizing this danger, will make every effort to avoid such a course of events.
