Former representative of a Turkish union of historians, notorious for his statements concerning denial of the Armenian Genocide, Yusuf Khalachoglu made another strange speech.

Candidate of a Turkish Nationalistic movement party Khalachoglu met hundred professors in a Turkish city Kayseri, informs Turkish newspaper Stargundem.

“My resignation may be a result of my statements that many Armenians are Kurdish, while the Kurds are of Turkmen origin,” said Khalachoglu during the meeting. “U.S. and Armenia ran secret negotiations with Turkey in Switzerland at that time. As a result, an agreement was signed in connection with open borders and U.S. and Armenia demanded my resignation.”
