In order to put Armenia on the track for long-term and sustainable development, it is necessary to create sustainable opportunities by initially assessing the existing resources. This is what Blair Sheppard said during today’s online presentation of his book “Ten Years to Midnight: Four urgent global crises and their strategic solutions”.

Sheppard stated that it is necessary to create opportunities to meet economic needs in places and outskirts. “Increasing effectiveness of decision-making in the dynamics of processes is very important. It all depends on personnel, meaning the education system underlies the problem,” Sheppard added.

The writer expressed certainty that new opportunities will emerge in the world after the pandemic, and there is a need for people who can work in several directions at once.

Co-founder of Aurora Prize for Awakening Humanity Ruben Vardanyan also believes the pandemic will lead to serious changes and the emergence of new technologies and new paths for communication which is particularly important amid the spread of ‘fake news’. “This means there is a need for a new education system through which it will be possible to educate people who will be capable of adapting to the changing conditions,” he stressed.
