Pope Francis visited an Armenian church that was destroyed in Mosul, Iraq. This was reported by Ines San Martin, head of the Catholic online newspaper Crux.

“Before leaving Mosul, Pope Francis made a private visit to the destroyed Syriac Orthodox and the Armenian churches,” San Martin wrote on Twitter.
