Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Tuesday met with the people gathered at the central square of Gavar town, listened to their problems, and answered their questions.

The people were calling on Pashinyan to be gutsy. "God be with you! It will be ok," said one of those one of those in attendance.

Another person suggested "clearing" Marshal Baghramyan Avenue in the capital Yerevan—across the parliament building—from the protesters.

And when a citizen called to “take care” of the reports being spread on the Internet, Pashinyan said. "What issue will we resolve by closing [it]? Better yet, you need to be able to distinguish between a lie and a truth. You do not have to believe everything being said. (…). Now, sadly, it’s not like as if everything is fine [in Armenia]; we do have problems. But they make such news 'storms' to discourage people. (…) we must return to normal life as soon as possible.”

"The most painful issue for us [now] is the issue of the [Armenian] captives [in Azerbaijan], the issue of the missing; we must resolve these issues as soon as possible. Sadly, there are events that hinder the resolution of these issues, but we must work and resolve [them]," the PM added.
