YEREVAN. – The National Assembly (NA) of Armenia will discuss in a closed session the report of the NA Inquiry Committee for Examining the Circumstances of the Military Activities of April 2016. The relevant decision was adopted at Tuesday’s sitting of the parliament.

The speaker of the parliament, Ararat Mirzoyan, explaining the reason for discussing this report in a closed session, said: "There are many issues that may be of public interest or important to the public, but at the same time be a state secret."

Mirzoyan added that the people, in fact, can get familiarized with the particulars of this case through their representatives—the MPs whom they have elected.

The report of the aforesaid committee will be discussed Wednesday.
