Azerbaijanis have destroyed cemeteries in the Taghavard village of Martuni region of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), half of which is currently under the control of Azerbaijan as a result of the 44-day war. This is what head of Taghavard village Oleg Harutyunyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“We saw with binoculars. They have only destroyed half of the cemetery, but I assume they will destroy it completely. The cemeteries are under their control, and that’s the way they’re treating them,” Harutyunyan said.

Touching upon the village’s security, the head of the village said the following: “It’s calm today, and villagers are going about their day. The school is active. There are no grazing fields. The villagers keep their cattle in cattle farms. If they bring the cattle out, they won’t be able to find them since the Azerbaijanis will take them.”
