The Ministry of Justice of Armenia and the Faculty of European Languages and Communication at Yerevan State University today signed a Memorandum of Understanding, as reported the Department of Information and Public Relations of the Ministry of Justice.

The document was signed by Deputy Minister of Justice Kristinne Grigoryan and Dean of the Faculty Gevorg Barseghyan.

The aim of the MoU is to organize the qualification checks of translators participating in notarial actions and increase effectiveness of evaluation of the results by using the potential of the Chair of Theory and Practice of Translation of the Faculty.

Grigoryan highly appreciated the initiative and emphasized that the government attaches importance to implementation of the process of qualification of notary translators at this level.

Barseghyan also attached importance to the need for the signing of the MoU and stated that the Faculty will use its tremendous professional potential to implement the initiative with honor.
