In 2020, the Prosecutor General’s Office of Armenia recorded 3,016 crimes in the Armed Forces, which is three times more than the number recorded in 2019. This is what Prosecutor General of Armenia Artur Davtyan said in parliament, during the latter’s discussion on the report on the activities carried out by the Prosecutor General’s Office in 2020.

Moreover, Davtyan added that 50% of the crimes were recorded during military operations.

“The Prosecutor General’s Office launched 1,683 criminal cases regarding committed crimes during the second war in Nagorno-Karabakh,” Davtyan said.
