YEREVAN. – Neither the security system nor the economy of Armenia is ready today for the opening of borders with Turkey. Artur Vanetsyan—a member of the "Union of NSS Reserve Officers" NGO of Armenia, former director of the National Security Service, and leader of the opposition Homeland Party—told this to a press conference Friday.

"I believe that this matter should be removed, in general, from the agenda at this phase, until Armenia's security system is restored and the economy will be ready," he added.
