A German government decree on the expansion of rights for citizens fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or having had a coronavirus infection came into force, DW reported.

Starting today, curfews, restrictions on social contacts, as well as mandatory rapid tests, for example, for visiting non-food stores, hairdressers or museums, have been canceled for these categories of persons.

Vaccinated and infected people are still required to wear protective masks and maintain a distance of at least 1.5 meters in relation to other citizens.
