By combination of sufficient evidence obtained through multifaceted investigation under the criminal case being investigated by the 9th Garrison Investigation Division of the General Department of Military Investigation of the Investigative Committee of Armenia in relation to the death of serviceman Artyom Melkonyan, compulsory fixed-term serviceman A.A. has been charged with violation of the rules for using a weapon which has negligently caused the death of a person, as reported the Investigative Committee.
A motion has been filed with the court to apply arrest as a pre-trial measure against the fellow servicemen, and the motion has been granted.
Preliminary investigation of the criminal case continues.
