YEREVAN. – The election headquarters—for the snap parliamentary elections on June 20—of the opposition Bright Armenia Party (BAP) will be headed by Davit Khazhakyan, head of the opposition Luys faction of the Yerevan Council of Elders. Edmon Marukyan, chairman of the BAP and head of its faction in the National Assembly, on Tuesday informed Armenian News-NEWS.am about this.

Marukyan added that the party congress will take place on Saturday, during which it will be known under what slogan the BAP will run in these elections and who will be on its electoral list.

According to Edmon Marukyan, Bright Armenia has high electoral chances. "We are a real alternative to the current and former authorities. People will decide what percentage [of the votes] we will garner," he said.
