Israeli planes attacked the house of the head of the Politburo of the Hamas movement that controls the Gaza Strip, Ismail Haniyeh, TASS reports citing Al Arabiya TV channel.

According to him, Haniyeh himself was absent from the house located in Gaza City at the time of the strike.

Earlier, as the Palestinian agency WAFA informed, as a result of shelling of the coastal enclave from Israel over the past few hours, civilian infrastructure was severely damaged, and a six-story residential building was completely destroyed.
