STEPANAKERT. – During the search operations carried out Tuesday, three remains were found and retrieved from Artsakh’s (Nagorno-Karabakh) Varanda (Fizuli) region, which has come under the control of Azerbaijan. Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned about this from the Artsakh State Service of Emergency Situations.

According to preliminary data, these remains are of the participants in the hostilities last fall, and their identities will be determined after a forensic examination.

Ever since November 13, 2020, a total of 1,563 such remains have been found and retrieved from the areas that are now outside Artsakh jurisdiction.
