I want to tell you about our lands; there are old Armenian tombs near the church, in front of our military post, and the yard of a Turk’s house is in front of our military post, there is a tombstone in the yard of the Turk’s house. This is what one of the residents of Voskepar village of Tavush Province of Armenia told acting Prime Minister, candidate of the Civil Contract Party for Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan today.

“During the Soviet era, we sold the lands. The seventh century church is still on the border,” he said.

In response, Pashinyan said the following: “I might come again one day and we’ll talk off camera. The borders have been adjusted. We’ll do whatever is in Armenia’s interests, but I believe there has to be demarcation of borders so that there won’t be problems. This is a very complicated and crucial issue.”
