The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan has issued a statement stating that units of the Armenian army have allegedly shelled Azerbaijani combat positions, but once again, this is disinformation, as reported the Department of Information and Public Relations of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.

“The Armenian units didn’t shell combat positions located in the territory of Azerbaijan. They took measures to stop the engineering works that the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan were carrying out in a section of Armenia’s border.

In particular, on June 11, once again, the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan tried to carry out engineering works in the section of the border in Kut village of Gegharkunik Province. The Armenian units countered, after which the engineering works were stopped,” the press release of the Armenian Defense Ministry reads.
