The customs officials of Armenia and Georgia have met at the Bagratashen border checkpoint; Armenian News-NEWS.am learned about this from the State Revenue Committee of Armenia.

On the agenda were matters related to the exchange of experience and cooperation in the field of customs during and after the unusual year caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

During the meeting they discussed the avenues for making more efficient the initial exchange of online data related to the international transportation of vehicles and goods between Georgia and Armenia.

The Armenian and Georgian colleagues agreed to intensify the cooperation of the respective divisions of the two countries.

Also, the parties expressed readiness to intensify the steps to complete the process of Armenia's membership in the Container Control Program.
