I still don’t understand whether the authorities know the number of deceased, captured and missing servicemen and aren’t saying anything or they know the number. Robert Kocharyan—the second President, leader of the "Armenia" bloc which is running in the snap parliamentary elections on June 20, and its candidate for prime minister—said this at their campaign meeting with the residents of Metsamor town.

“I can’t accept the fact that the public has been unaware of the number of deceased, captured and missing servicemen for the past eight months. If there are figures, we will disclose them the day after we come to power. If there are no figures, we will work in this direction. We will be honest and state how many deceased servicemen there are, how many missing servicemen there are and how many prisoners of war there are. This is not the type of data that need to be kept confidential and serve as an occasion for conspiracy theories,” the second President said.
