US President Joe Biden's press reporters, who have traveled with him through Europe, waited almost two hours before reaching the US leader's meeting with his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and they received information about the White House chief's work at the NATO summit from the Turkish President's Twitter account, TASS reports.

According to a statement issued by Biden’s press center, these reporters were told that they would be able to video record the start of these talks. But in reality, they were waiting for 112 minutes near the hall where this meeting was to take place. They learned about the start of the talks from the Turkish President's official Twitter account. As a result, the American press was allowed to enter the meeting room when the meeting was already over, and there could be no announcement of the opening of the meeting.

Such an “organizing” of the work of the US President's Office during his meeting with the foreign leader has caused indignation in the American press.
