Acting Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan is holding a rally at Republic Square in Yerevan today.

The rally was supposed to start at 8 pm, but it began nearly half-an-hour late. According to Pashinyan, the ‘steel mandate’ will be transmitted today.

Pashinyan arrived at Republic Square with his family and teammates.

The speakers expressed gratitude to the citizens who had cast their votes in favor of them.

Member of Civil Contract Party Suren Papikyan touched upon the violations committed during the election campaign and ascribed them to the former authorities, adding that he will take the initiative to restore the rights of citizens that were violated during the election campaign.

In his speech, Pashinyan stated that his political party won the elections in Armenia’s capital Yerevan and all the provinces and added that he hopes to record that the political crisis that began in Armenia on November 9, 2020 is resolved and the government will start working tomorrow.

Pashinyan also called on all citizens to stop using swear words against each other since Armenia and Artsakh are turning a new page of their history. He also called on immediately launching negotiations to return ‘that which was stolen’ so that it can serve the social-economic agenda in Armenia.

The acting premier also declared that he will start political consultations with the forces that are inclined to engage in dialogue. He also addressed the spiritual leaders of Armenia and said Armenians also need to renew spiritual life.

Once again, Pashinyan added that the political crisis in Armenia is resolved and over and that the government is going back to work to build Armenia anew and support the people of Artsakh.
