Egyptian authorities have relaxed entry rules for vaccinated tourists arriving from countries not affected by the new strains of coronavirus. They will not be required to perform PCR tests, RIA Novosti reported referring to Egypt Air.

The document, citing a directive from the Egyptian Ministry of Health, says that vaccination certificates will be checked on arriving passengers. It should be unaltered and contain a QR code. 

It is noted that documents on vaccination with drugs approved by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Egyptian Drug Administration, including Sputnik V, Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Moderna, Sinopharm, Sinovac, will be accepted.

From the moment of the introduction of the second dose of the vaccine, 14 days must pass, in the case of the drug of Johnson & Johnson, 14 days must pass after the vaccination.

As for unvaccinated tourists, the same requirements remain for them: it is necessary to provide the results of a PCR test conducted less than 72 hours before departure, except for children under six years old.
