Acting Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan had a telephone conversation with President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.

As reported the Office of the Prime Minister of Armenia, President Putin congratulated Pashinyan on the successful holding of the elections in Armenia and the victory that was recorded.

The interlocutors also touched upon the current state of affairs in the region and the course of implementation of the provisions stated in the trilateral statements signed on November 9, 2020 and January 11, 2021.

In this context, the acting premier underscored the primary significance of the return of Armenian prisoners of war.
