YEREVAN. – The court session on the criminal case against Armenia’s second President Robert Kocharyan and former deputy prime minister Armen Gevorgyan has resumed Tuesday at the capital Yerevan court of general jurisdiction.

A number of previous court hearings were rescheduled for various reasons.

Earlier, the Constitutional Court had declared the Criminal Code Article 300.1—under which Kocharyan and Gevorgyan, as well as former Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan and former CSTO Secretary General Yuri Khachaturov were charged—unconstitutional.
