Iran has decided to import electricity from Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Turkmenistan amid continuing power outages across the country. This was announced on Wednesday by the Iranian Energy Ministry's spokesman for Electricity Industry, Mostafa Rajabi Mashhadi , RIA Novosti reports.

According to him, energy exports from Iran have been almost completely stopped. "Currently, electricity is imported from Turkmenistan, Armenia, and Azerbaijan. We export only about 50 megawatts to Afghanistan," he said.
