The Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, Ali Asadov, has invited Georgia to use the "Zangezur corridor." He made this "proposal" at the eighth meeting of the joint intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Georgia.

"Speaking about transport-transit, it is necessary, of course, to especially note the importance of new opportunities for cooperation, which are provided by the liberation of Azerbaijani lands from occupation. Restoration of economic ties and transport communications in the South Caucasus is beneficial to all countries in the region. The creation of a new transport-communication infrastructure will contribute to the increase of cargo transportation and will bring considerable economic benefits on a regional scale. I mean the specific Zangazur [i.e., Zangezur] corridor," Asadov said, in particular.

The fact that the "Zangezur corridor" is actually non-existent does not seem to bother the Azerbaijani PM.
