YEREVAN. – The newly appointed Ambassador of France to Armenia, Anne Louyot, visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial in the capital Yerevan, the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Ambassador Louyot laid a wreath at the Armenian Genocide Monument.

Also, the guests placed flowers at the Eternal Flame and observed a minute of silence in memory of the innocent victims of the Armenian Genocide.

Also, the French ambassador toured the Armenian Genocide Museum, made a note in its book of honored guests, and then visited the museum's gallery where an exhibition, entitled "Jansem: A Painter of Medz Yeghern [i.e., Armenian Genocide]," is presented.
