During Friday’s online meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the CIS member countries, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev stated that Armenia, in conspiracy with Iran for about 30 years, used Azerbaijan's "formerly occupied territories" to transport illegal drugs to Europe.

"After restoring the 130-kilometer state border with Iran, which had previously been under Armenian control for 30 years, Azerbaijan put a ban on drug trafficking from Iran—via the Jabrayil [(Jrakan)] region of Azerbaijan—to Armenia and later—Europe," Aliyev said.
