A large number of police forces were brought to Goris city of Armenia’s Syunik Province Saturday—on the eve of the municipal council elections.
The Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent reports from Goris that the police conducted an intensified service in the city at night.

The ruling Civil Contract and the Armenian National Congress parties, as well as the newly formed Arush Arushanyan bloc are running in this local election in Goris.

The aforesaid bloc’s mayoral candidate, the incumbent Arush Arushanyan, is currently under arrest.
