One of the key issues during my recent visit to Armenia was the Araks River pollution, which I discussed with the officials of this country. Iranian Prosecutor General Mohammad Jafar Montazeri told this to the state-run Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), Pars Today reported.

Montazeri added that during these meetings it was decided to set up a special commission to study the Araks River pollution in both Iran and Armenia.

"The issue of the Araks River is important for both countries, and we are determined to pursue this issue until the desired result is achieved," said the Iranian prosecutor general.
