The direct passenger air communication between the capitals of Armenia and Lithuania—Yerevan and Vilnius—will start in the first month of winter, reported the Lithuanian Ministry of Transport and Communications.

According to the Minister of Transport and Communications, Marius Skuodis, these flights will promote more active cooperation, strengthening of humanitarian ties, business contacts, and tourism between Lithuania and Armenia.

Low-cost carrier Wizz Air will operate these flights between Yerevan and Vilnius on Wednesdays and Sundays—and as of mid-December.
