The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Armenia has sent an encyclical to the organizations carrying out higher and post-graduate vocational educational programs.

As reported the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport, taking as a basis the epidemiological situation in Armenia due to the spread of COVID-19 and the recent sharp rise in the numbers of patients, to control the epidemiological situation and restrain the spread of the disease, it is proposed to organize classes of higher and post-graduate vocational educational institutions online between October 26 and November 15. The classes need to be held through information and communication technologies and toolkits according to the professional courses and the subjects of the particular university.

The ministry has also proposed to extend the autumn vacation for 1st-12th graders for one week (until November 7, 2021) in order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus in schools and urges schools and universities to refrain from calling employees to work during the vacation and organize the classes remotely as much as possible.
