Archbishop Edgar Pena Parra, the Substitute for General Affairs of the Holy See, will pay an official visit to Armenia on Wednesday and Thursday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Archbishop Parra will be on hand at the official opening of the Holy See’s Apostolic See in Armenia.

Also, a meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, and the Substitute for General Affairs of the Holy See will be held Wednesday at the MFA.

Within the framework of his official visit to Armenia, Archbishop Parra will meet with President Armen Sarkissian, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, and Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II, too.
