YEREVAN. – Zhoghovurd newspaper of the Republic of Armenia (RA) writes: According to Zhoghovurd daily’s information, law enforcement officers, as well as representatives of the judiciary have decided to keep everyone in custody in the criminal case of RA former Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan.

It should be noted that two days ago, the lawyer of Major General Avetik Muradyan, who held the position of the head of Head of Aviation-Head of Department from 2009 to 2019, filed an appeal to commute his detention, but the Court of Appeal denied the lawyers' appeal. By the way, Muradyan does not accept the charge [brought against him].

This is not all. The appellate [court] denied the motion of Davit Tonoyan's lawyers, too.

It turns out that the four main officials in the criminal case will remain in custody for the time being, and all motions to commute their detention will be denied.
