During today’s session, the National Assembly of Armenia approved the amendments to the Law on Financial Leveling in the second and final reading.

In addition, the parliamentarians also approved several other bills in the first reading, including the bills on making amendments and supplements to the Laws on Local Self-Governance in Yerevan, on Local Self-Governance, on State Border, on State Technical Oversight in the Sector of Energy and Energy Use, on Mass Media, on Military Service and Status of Servicemen and on Geodesy and Mapping.

The parliament also ratified a number of agreements, including the Agreement on Suspending Double Taxation of Income between the Governments of the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Malta, as well as Prevention of Cases of Failure to Pay Taxes and Tax Evasion, as well as the Agreement on Suspending Double Taxation of Income between the Governments of the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Singapore, as well as Prevention of Cases of Failure to Pay Taxes and Tax Evasion.
