Co-rapporteurs of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Kimmo Kiljunen (Finland) and Boriana Aberg (Sweden will visit Armenia from November 3 to 5.

The PACE reports that electoral reforms, the relations between constitutional institutions, independence of the judiciary, the state of the mass media, as well as the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and its consequences on the activities of democratic institutions in Armenia will be in the focus of discussions.

The PACE co-rapporteurs will hold high-level meetings with the Armenian authorities, members of parliamentary committees, members of the Armenian delegation to the PACE and the leaders of factions of the National Assembly. They are also scheduled to meet with representatives of the judiciary, the diplomatic community and civil society representatives.
