Honored Art Worker of Armenia, composer, conductor, professor of the Yerevan State Conservatory named after A. Komitas Ruben Altunyan.

"We are deeply saddened to announce that at the age of 82, Honored Art Worker of the Republic of Armenia, composer, conductor, professor of the Yerevan State Conservatory Ruben Altunyan has died.

The Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory mourns the death of the outstanding professor and expresses deep condolences to his family, colleagues and students," the publication says.
