Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Maria Zakharova today said she has no comment on the upcoming meeting of the leaders of Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan.

In response to a question about the meeting, Zakharova stated that a lot of attention was paid to the topic during the previous briefing and there were many detailed comments on the work of all three sides, the efforts of the three sides and how the actions are being implemented. “As far as the meetings at the highest level are concerned, commenting on them is under the jurisdiction of the Russian president’s staff,” Zakharova said.

The meeting is scheduled to take place on Nov. 26.

“It’s safe to say that Russia is doing everything possible to strengthen stability and establish peaceful life in the region and, of course, now the focus is particularly on the restoration and development of trade-economic and transport relations,” Zakharova said.
